The BO LED UV Full Spectrum range has been developed to meet the essential biological needs of reptiles in captivity, by reproducing the sun’s visible and UV spectrum.
It promotes vitamin D3 synthesis, proper calcium metabolism, and the expression of natural behaviors, thanks to stable, measured and long-lasting UV output.

Designed for easy integration in all types of terrariums, including humid environments, UV Full Spectrum bars are resistant to humidity, interconnectable with each other and with the Natural Vision range, and available in multiple lengths to suit every setup.
They provide stable UV emission for up to 3 years and have been designed to be durable and recyclable.

The complete range is available in three UV output levels (6 %, 12 % and 14 %) to precisely match the needs of different species, depending on their native climate, lifestyle (arboreal, terrestrial, desert) and sun exposure behavior.
UV emissions have been measured using a UV meter and represented through UVI emission cones, allowing users to accurately adjust the distance between the lamp and the animal for biologically appropriate UV exposure.

The BO LED UV Full Spectrum range stands out with a stable UV output guaranteed for 3 years, allowing it to consistently cover the biological needs of reptiles in captivity. It was developed in response to evolving European regulations, which are leading to the gradual phase-out of traditional UV solutions such as T5 fluorescent tubes, expected to be withdrawn from the market by the end of 2026. By comparison, UV T5 tubes must be replaced every 6 to 8 months due to rapid UV degradation, meaning that one BO Lights LED bar replaces on average five UV T5 tubes over its lifespan. Designed with sustainability in mind, BO Lights LED bars are fully recyclable, offering a future-proof, compliant and environmentally responsible lighting solution.
