The high-quality aluminium reflector concentrates heat and light. Ventilation holes in the neck of the lamp and around the quartz promote convection and thus heat dissipation, making the lamp last longer than an ordinary halogen lamp. Lamp is made of reinforced, splash-proof quartz.
